There are two kinds of resources that Litigation Analytics provides analytics for:
Legal Professionals. This resource refers to people and organizations: attorneys, law firms, and judges.
Content types. This resource refers to content types: dockets, outcomes, and motions.
Information Model
The data returned by the API is primarily focused on analytics. The following information model is intended to help understand the results:
Case (matter) types.
Outcome types.
Motion types.
In addition to analytics, the Litigation Analytics API may also provide "data snippets," and links to the underlying content (e.g., dockets, opinions, orders, briefs, motions, and so on) that are in Westlaw Edge™.
