The System To System (S2S) application provides CLEAR functionality to client systems via API endpoints. We have chosen an approach based on the Representational State Transfer (REST) architectural style because of its simplicity, interoperability, and broad adoption in commercial system to system interfaces. While our interface doesn’t adhere to all REST principles, it is certainly drawing on some of them. One in particular is the concept that our services perform operations on resources.
