Using the generic connector for AI
OVERVIEW
Introduction
It is possible to add API support to your AI service to enable seamless integration with the HighQ AI Hub.
This allows your AI service to appear alongside ‘native’ AI services for HighQ users. Administrators can select files to be sent to your AI engine for processing and review, and the metadata your AI extracts from those files is automatically pulled back to HighQ so that it can, for example:
- be available to users,
- trigger workflow,
- automatically generate documents and reports, or
- drive data visualisation.

APIs required by the generic connector for AI
Your AI service must support specific APIs to allow the AI Hub to connect to the service, authenticate, send files and receive data. This article describes how authorisation and URLs are handled and provides a table of API requests and expected responses.

These diagrams describe processes that have been implemented in the HighQ AI Hub that support connection to AI services.
